- Let out of town guests know of your wedding date

- Get in shape for your wedding gown
- Try on dresses

- Have your bridal gown fitted

- Begin writing thank-you notes for early wedding gifts and showers
- Find out where to get your marriage license
- Schedule bridesmaid luncheon and buy your attendants gifts if you haven’t already
3-4 weeks
- Mail rehearsal dinner invitations
- Pick up your wedding rings
- Design and order your wedding programs
- Prepare a must-shoot list for your photographer
- Call guests who have yet to RSVP
- Get your marriage license, usually no earlier than 30 days before your wedding
- Research how to change your name
- Meet with your hair stylist and make-up artist for a test run
- Confirm your honeymoon travel arrangements
1-2 weeks
- Confirm your hair and make-up appointment
- Finalize your wedding day schedule
- Confirm times with your florist, cake person, caterer, transportation, etc.
- Pick up your bridal gown and make sure all accessories are together
- Pick up groom’s outfit and make sure all accessories are together
- Confirm final number of guests
- Prepare the guest favors
- Prepare place cards
- Put together a box of all accessories such as decorations, guest book, toasting glasses, etc.
- Pack for your wedding night and honeymoon

Day before
- Rehearse ceremony with wedding party and officiant
- Gather together your gown and accessories
- Get all payments together for vendors
